KEELBOAT CLASS
Description: Private Classes - Put your own crew together. If you have never sailed before or have limited experience, this class will get you started with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of sailing. Beginning sailing can be intimidating. I am here to make sure that your experience is both safe and rewarding. All our classes are on the "EMMA ROSE," a Cal 36. She has a roller furling jib, wheel steering and a diesel engine. All factors that will help you build confidence right away. At the basic level you'll learn sailing terminology and its applications, knots, points of sail, rules of the road and an introduction to docking and more. All classes are "hands-on," aboard the "EMMA ROSE." After this class you are on your way to cruising.
